[personal profile] digitalwave posting in [community profile] dusty_corners
Hi guys!

As always we're trying to raise some money so I'll be posting a bunch of stuff for sale. Right now I've got my full set of my Supernatural Seasons 1-8 DVD's, plus the Supernatural: The Anime Series up for sale on EBay. If you're interested and would like to take a look you can find them here:

SUPERNATURAL SEASONS 1-8 DVD + SUPERNATURAL THE ANIME SERIES:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181459841231

I've got pictures posted of all of them in the listing. They've never been watched and are in great shape, Seasons 4-8 even still have the shrink wrap on them. :)

Thanks!
Barbara

I wanted to give you a heads up about eBay, if people are paying through PayPal, Paypal is holding those funds for up to 21 days or longer. I had a horrible time this go round because I rely on the buyers to pay for shipping, because without those funds, I cannot ship.

Because PayPal put a hold on those funds I was not able to ship out. Despite me telling buyers about this issue, I still had cases filed against me and eBay refunded almost half my sales due to this issue.

Do you know when that started? I haven't sold anything in about a month, but I didn't have holds the last time I sold. [I rely on the payments to clear so I can ship with them, too.]

I'm not sure, I listed and sold things at the end of May/Beginning of June and that's when I discovered this. They're trying to make you pay for postage through PayPal I guess, but often the calculated postage is wrong so I'd rather take it to the post office.

That's weird sweetie, I sold something a few days ago and it posted immediately. The only thing that didnt was an echeck and that was only 5 business days.

Oops!

I wasn't sure it was just me, but on PayPal's help/question board I wasn't the only one that this happened to, so I have no idea what's going on.

I heard about this as well but I think it may be related to new accounts. Paypal are holding money until you have some good feedback as a seller. Sellers with a proven track record are still able to withdraw money whenever they want.
That said, from what I read at the Community forum, Paypal don't seem to be telling people at what point they have amassed enough good feedback for their funds to be released.
