Paying it forward...

digitalwaveA few days ago I saw a post that broke my heart from one of my friends. Mandy made a voice post saying that they'd lost their phone and internet, if things don't get better fast, next would be their gas and lights. After that, if they couldn't come up with their rent by the 15th, they stood a very real chance of losing their apartment. Just for reference, you can find her video post here. After that I looked around for ways to get the message of Mandy needing help out to the larger world. I've never used Fundrazr before, one of our friends, Dan Colonna, who has a brain tumor, is using it to raise money for his treatments and chemo drugs. I followed the link from his post and read up on it when Lee and I sent a little off to his campaign a couple of nights ago.
I don't know what kind of response I'll get in the long term but, they need all the help I can find for them so, it's sure worth a try. Here's the link to Mandy's listing:

If you guys could help me pass along that link it would be wonderful. Plus, just to keep paying things forward, if any one might be interested, here's the link to Dan's campaign page as well. The end date has passed but they've extended it and you can still give a little if you'd like. He's a great guy and a really talented model builder. That's how we met him, from his coming to WonderFest here in Louisville year after year. This was the first time he had to miss in a lot of years. Here's his link:
